AnonymousVisiter 98.174.176.86       Comment# 54036 ReplyTo# 2614     7/8/2010 12:10:00 PM       Edit / Flag       lol.. yea. its not abandoned. its privately owned. u have to cross a metal bar/gate type thing and wlk down the road. the family whos property it is got tired of teenagers looking for a thrill and messing the grounds up. behind the PURPLE building. yes. it is purple. for those who say otherwise. there are campers. in rvs. the church was turned into a meth lab. and the men will set there with there shotguns. promise. there is also a white silverado pickup truck parked off the trail a bit.the trail is sourounded by trees. and the bottoms are tied with barbwire. so you can only move forward or backwards. he directions to the place are off. and almost backwards. once u get to the spencer graveyard drive a little ways and you will find the gate i described earlier. the youtube.com videos of the church. are not what it looks like. im not sure what that is. it may have been the original. it burnt down. this is the remake :] k thanks

One of the friends i went with recorded the whole thing as we walked down the gated off driveway in the dark. One thing that really striked me was it hadn't rained in weeks and i saw a wheelbarrow full of water but also full of freshly cut wood. it looked like the wheelbarrow had been sitting there untouched and seemed odd to to have new wood in there. I believe there as a pond cause we heard something being thrown in there and we saw a umbrella in there. We were hearing noises coming from in front of us. It was scaring us so much we took off running. The odd thing was at one point in walking we saw some flash of light or some glow of some sort. On the video we confirmed what we saw. just some sort of glow of light going across infront of us in the video. It was a very creepy experience and i'm not sure if it was haunted or if people were there.

Me and my sister walked that path today. It was really creepy. My 2 best friends and my sisters husband stayed in the car because they were too scared to go in there. Anyways, we walked about a block and a half down the dirt road. We saw several different signs that said One Way. The further we got down the road the more creeped out we got. The ones that stayed in the car kept honking the horn and whistling at us but we thought that they were just trying to scare us. Anyways, we came almost all the way to the first turn and had to turn around because we were horrified. We heard a dog bark in the distance and when we got back to the car they were all screaming come on, lets go. As soon as we got in the car a black truck came around the corner and followed us around 2 of the curves that lead out. My sis and I then learned that the truck belonged to a house that was on the hill and the owner had gotten into the truck and drove toward the back then was setting in the front drive waiting for us to come out. That is not the creepy part. As we were "fast" walking back to the car we saw hundreds of empty shot gun shells lying on the ground. They appeared to be old but I guess we werent paying attention on the way down the road. I think that the guy in the truck was the one who owned the property and was probably prepared to shoot us. Please dont go there. I would not want to see anyone get hurt or killed because of a so called Purple Church.

Now all that's left is a cellar. I've been there twice, it's a pretty scary place. The satanic rituals practiced there aren't rumors, they really happen. The infamous Sean Sellers(murderer) started these rituals there. We all agree'd and i had a flashlight on, well we all got quiet for only a good TWO seconds and the flashlight atuomatically shut off by itself and a man(probably the owner hell if i know) jumped out from behind a tree with a long shiney object. We all turned around and booked it out of there! I advice you NOT to go unless you have possibly a weapon and a BUNCH(7-10) friends with you who are not loud and obnoxious.

This place has been legend for a long time. The gate wasn't really a gate back then. Just two pillars with white poles sticking up that came to an arch. It wasn't really cleared out. Upon exiting the vehicle, we noticed animal fur everywhere and blowing in the breeze. Blood spots on the path. There was a large knife hanging by a wire from one of the trees. The "path" became obstructed with leaves and brush and was unsure how to proceed. About this time, we heard someone or something in the woods beside us and sprinted back to the car as fast as we could like a bunch of scared schoolgirls. The headlights began to flicker on the way out of there. I was skeptical and thought it was the driver (older brother of friend) just trying to mess with us. He insisted that he wasn't doing anything and put his hands in the air and they continued to flicker. It stopped once we had driven for a while through the "tunnel" of trees. Needless to say, we were freaked the f out. I want to go back, but fear now it is just the property owners fed up with it being so "touristy" and probably a little hostile to anyone that goes there.
