Location Description:
Glowing tombstone in Seymour, Tx. As a teen in the 60's, the 'rites of passage' in Seymour was to take the new 'underclassmen' out to see the glowing tombstone. I attended a reunion in Seymour June 12, 2010, and mentioned to my mother about the glowing tombstone and she said she had never heard of it much less seen it. (Tombstone probably was not there when she was young since she is 97 years old now). And another in our party had not seen it as a teen. Others in our party had seen it as a teen. It was 12:30am, so I decided to take my mother out to see it along with the other who had not. Lo and behold, it was there glowing brightly as it ever did. So here is the location. Go to the cemetary in Seymour Tx. (we were there at 12:30am) and when you get to the last entrance on the left to the cemetary, simply turn off your car lights and slowly creep along (going south) and look east and you will see it about 40 yards down into the cemetary as you creep along. None of the other tombstones glow, just that one. Have no clue as to why just that one glows. I am just a plain wife, mother and grandmother, not really interested in the strange world, but thought I would pass this along!!!!!
