TV. Star Trek- TOS, TNG, DS9, Voy. The Office, The A-Team, Dr. Who,
Breaking Bad, Babylon 5, Weeds, Crusade, The Simpsons, Millennium, the
X Files, Firefly, Dark Angel, and a few others. I don't actually have
cable or even decent antenna reception. Yes, I'm so cool I don't watch
TV. Digital changeover? What's a digital? MOVIES. Some of my all-time favorites: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, Star
Trek: First Contact, any of the Babylon 5 movies except Legend of the
Rangers, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Terminator 2 (often
dismissed as just another over-budgeted action flick. I tend to think
of it as a modern day version of the Golem myth), Pineapple Express, V
for Vendetta, Evil Dead 2, Robocop, Free Enterprise, Predator, Frogs,
Gojira (the original Japanese version of Godzilla, which was not so
much a monster movie as it was a sobering allegory of nuclear
proliferation), Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, Independence Day, Total
Recall (ok, so you're noticing I list a lot of Arnie films... Yeah, I
know, he's another NWO puppet, but every once in a while, I can't help
it, I behave like a late 20's, white, lower middle-class straight male.
I love explosions and guns... it's genetic, can't help it.) Big Trouble
in Little China, The Big Lebowski, Saved, The Omega Code 2: Megiddo,
Dogma, Stigmata, Serenity, JCVD, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, the Superman
movies... well, all but that one with Richard Pryor. As far as more
recent films, I dug the new Terminator. The new Star Trek was good as a
standalone or a remake, but failed to impress me from a hardcore
trekkie standpoint. Books. Atlas Shrugged, Dune, Dune Messiah, and Children of Dune, Dandelion
Wine, Brave New World, The Chronicles of Narnia, 1984, The Revolution:
A Manifesto, The Screwtape Letters, The Ghosthunters Bible, Out of the
Silent Planet, Communion, The Star Trek Encyclopedia, The Martian
Chronicles(made me cry in places), I Sing the Body Electric, Bear vs.
Shark, The Gospel According to the Simpsons, Kaballah: Three Thousand
Years of Mystic Tradition, The Lost Books of the Bible, The Mothman
Prophecies, Invisible Man, The Other Bible, The Soul Search, Bulfinch's
Mythology, Chariots of the Gods?, and tons more. My library is quite
extensive. It's big like my privy member. Oh yeah, and the occasional
Star Trek novel. Also been on a mission to track down and read some of
the classics of sci-fi that I haven't gotten to yet. The Bible.
