If you head out there nowadays, and try going to whitesands, you'll need the people who work there to know you are out there. My teacher, was out there surveying and had already made connections with the peeple who work there so they know he is there, but word of them being there did not get around ALL of the staff.
So while he was working, they saw about 15 jeeps come over the horizon and they were confronted and told to put their hands in the air. The jeeps had gunners and plenty of guns. They were military.
So he explained what they were doing and they left. But wondering how they managed to find them...he concluded they have plenty of heat sensing devices out there so when there is a bunny running through, they know it.
This place is under 24hr surveillance.
