The Little Daisy is actually a motel rather than a hotel. It is one of the prettiest motels I have ever seen.
My mom grew up in Clarkdale, and remembered a lot of things about Cottonwood --- none of it good. She and my grandfather sat on the hill by their house in Clarkdale and watched Cottonwood burn after a bootlegger's still blew up. She said it was a great fire!
I lived in Cottonwood for nearly two years. It is another place where newcomers have destroyed all the good, and have overbuilt, overrun and over done their dastardly work.
