Weslyan is haunted by a civil war general`s son who drowned when he jumped head first into Cypress Creek from the old one lane bridge on Waterloo Road a couple minutes from campus. His wet footsteps can be seen at night.

Off Campus Bookstore In the late 30`s or early 40`s, a young girl named Molly lived in the building with her parents. For her 11th birthday, her parents bought her a puppy. Soon, her puppy contracted rabies and bit her hand. Within a week, she died. Her ghost has been seen many times in the upstairs window, looking down.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	I went on a tour during halloween some years back. Molly has been seen by many out side of her home. She will ask strangers who pass her home and ask them if they had seen her dog. She is calling his name and looking for him.

patrickseth81@yahoo.com Last Seen: 8/31/2008 8:57:35 AM	proud to see that someone FINALLY has the gall to step up on this. I always felt Molly was a nickname the "witness" gave to an apparition. If that happened in the 30's or 40's...then wouldnt SOMEONE remember it well enough to know her name? and even if not, the newspaper obituaries from a newspaper of THAT TIME FRAME shouldnt be that difficult to find since the library is in sight's distance across the street. and even the public library would keep up with papers that age as well. And Ive scoured these cemeteries like a brillo pad....no child molly. maybe they just buried her somewhere else. It wasnt even UNA in the 50's

AnonymousVisiter	I live only ten minutes from there and I have heard many things about Molly. I f anyone has read 13 ghosts of Alabama it is said it is her that is on the front cover of the book in the little purple dress and i actully saw a her looking out the upstairs window.
