AnonymousVisiter M US	My partner and I visited the cemetery during the daylight hours on January 26 and 27, 2008. Definitely active! We received many EVP's on the Digital Recorder at this location. For example, upon entering my partner said, "Let's go all the way to the back." Immediately after her statement, we could clearly hear a man with a raspy voice say, "All the way back." We also heard children singing - sounded almost angelic. A moan and heavy breathing was also detected. The man's voice that said, "All the way back", was one of the best EVP's we received; however, a close second was after I said, "He's leaving." A clearly distinctive whisper was heard saying, "With who?". We went back the following day and got erratic short breaths throughout the whole recording (sounded almost like a woman crying) and we also received a sound of a woman laughing. While our visit I made a point to verbally identify sounds in the area, such as a car driving by, a dog, any human voices, and etc. A clicking or knocking could be heard frequently through the visit on the recording.

AnonymousVisiter M US	I just went to this cemetery to investigate any paranormal activity, and the results were astounding! We took several photos, approx. 50 photos, and almost ALL of them has Orbs, and streaks of ectoplasms, and so many aspirations that it would be impossible to deny any activity was there! We also recorded our visit and heard EVP's as well! When we were getting in my car to leave, my daughter jokingly said" Please don't follow us home" and the voice anwered back, " Watch out ya'll! It was really something else! It was the best experience I have had with paranormal investigating! Alot of activity!!!!!!!!!! ~ Dana Emanuel, Cocoa, Fla.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	if u live in merritt island or near it you go over the draw bridge and keep going untill u see a circle K gas station. then go all the way untill u cant go no more then turn right onto "N Tropical Trail" then u drive untill u see no houses or lights and u will come up on the house, it will be on ur left right next to the church. The is barb wire about the yard.

AnonymousVisiter	Georgiana Cemetery is located off of South Tropical Trail, not North Tropical Trail. If you take Courtenay Parkway south, you would turn right on South Tropical Trail (about 3-3 1/2 miles south of Jefferson Middle School) then you would make a left onto Crooked Mile Rd. It is on your left across the street from the church. If you are coming on South Tropical Trail you would follow it approx 6 miles or more until the road makes a big bend to the left just before it meets up with Courtenay Pkwy. You would make a right turn after the church and it will be on your left across the street from the church. If you arent watching you can miss it.

AnonymousVisiter A US	i visited the cemetery recently and was very disapointed we got a couple of orbs on film and that was it i was really hoping to get some nice results after hearing so much about it..we heard or say nothing and we even got kicked out by the police due to a neihbors complaint about the flashes from or cameras and such....long story short...crooked mile is not haunted unless your mind makes it haunted...or it might of been that i was high and not scared...it did though make out for one scary expeirience...getting arrested and sitting in a brevard county jail..

AnonymousVisiter V -	I generally avoid places like Crooked Mile. I'd heard plenty of ghost stories about it since I was a kid-- some downright goofy and some not. It's always been a spooky place in my mind. I've only been to it once, however. I was part of an amateur horror film crew in mid 2004 and a couple of scenes were planned to take place in the cemetery and across the street in the church's front yard. We didn't have any problems filming and we'd obtained permission to be there. Only a couple of things struck me as paranormal (and bear in mind that I'm often open in mind to these experiences). There was a short, strange howl that didn't sound like any kind of animal I'm used to hearing in the area. I can't say what it was but it was weird. Pessimistically, it could have been an observing neighbor screwing with us but I don't think so. It only happened once. The only other thing was a moment where I thought I felt we were being watched but of course no one was there. I can only be certain about the howl. That was very real and it sounded very strange. I would have been laughed at by the crew but when we entered the cemetery I said a little prayer and asked for protection from malicious entities. I also said some words to the effect that we did not want to disturb anyone in the graveyard and meant no disrespect. Just before leaving, I did this again and said some thanks for bearing with us (the crew). Perhaps that did something. Who knows. I seldom ever visually notice anything paranormal but I have had many times where I can sense it and often hear it. Crooked Mile definitely has activity but what kind and of what nature(s) I can't really say. My one and only visit was pretty even keel.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	This isn't called Crooked Mile Cemetery.. It's actually called Georgiana, and it's affilated with Georgiana Methodist Church at the corner of S. Tropical and Crooked Mile. There's no barbed wire, and the police rarely go out there, I've never had any problems with the police ever, and I've been out there several times, with several different people. As for my experience, I've never heard voices. There's always a feeling of being watched there though. The one night we went out there with a camera there were many orbs. We even caught a face of someone, granted the camera had moved a little, but you can still notice the face. I just went back out there yesterday for a research project. Whenever I go there I tell everyone hi, and ask them how they're doing. I don't think it hurts to be friendly to them. But I've never picked up on anything terrible in there.

AnonymousVisiter	me and my friend went out there last night on October 27th at about 11:30 pm. it was storming pretty bad. i will admit that there were some creepy old grave stones, but other than that nothing to creepy. i was somewhat disappointed about the size of the graveyard. i might try again a little closer to halloween in order to try and get a little thrill.

AnonymousVisiter	I have lived on Merritt Island all of my life, 38 years, a couple of miles from Georgiana Cemetery. As teenagers we used to play hide and seek in the cemetery at night and make our annual halloween trip until we were greeted with the unexpected. The guys in our group took off to the very back of the cemetery to hide and as the rest of us hunted for places a little closer to the front, we heard an unfamiliar mans voice say 'RUN'. They all came running out like little girls. They said that they had seen an 'old man' figure, not one that we had ever encountered before. We all gathered together and got a flashlight and went to the back together. There was no one there! It felt as if someone was watching us but we could not find anyone. I have also encountered spirits there on my own. I had just made the turn onto crooked mile road, in my car, to go to a friends house when I had to slow down to almost a complete stop. There were a bunch of kids/teens in a circle, holding hands and 'dancing' in the street. I couldnt believe what I saw and I have to say it scared the crap out of me. There was music playing and the girls all had long flowing dresses on. They parted the circle in half so I could pass through. To this day I have not gone back down that road at night or to the cemetery. When I do drive past it during the day I get goosebumps.

butterfly25 Last Seen: 11/1/2009 3:05:21 PM	I visited georgiana cemetery last night. I arrived about 730 before dark and stayed til about 9 after dark. I was disapointed. It was halloween and there was a full moon. You would think if there was any activity there that would be the time it would peak. I did get 3 pics on my cell but then my battery died. One was blank but the other 2 show tiny green specks. not sure what they are. But i plan to go back and try again one more time and get more pics before i form an opinion about the cemetery.

Tanyastjohn Last Seen: 9/19/2010 12:36:51 PM	I went to Georgina in Merritt Island with my brother and two other friends. My brother knew about the place and was sort of hesitant to go in at first. I was able to catch many interesting orbs as well as some evil looking aspiration that was was caught during a picture. I felt very odd, there was a heavy feeling of sadness and sorrow, anger. It defiantly was very disturbing to me. Anyways, my brother walked a head of us and went towards the back of the cemetery and he got very quiet, next thing I see is my brother running full speed and telling us, to get out, get out now.. All of a sudden he suddenly stops almost as hitting a wall that you can't see. And stands there limp with his head back and his arms down at his side. It was the most strangest thing that I have ever seen. He then falls to the ground, almost as he was thrown to the ground and starts mumbling in this voice that I didn't recognize. It was so hard to even pick him up, there was 3 people pulling on him to get him up and it was as if someone was pulling on him in the other direction. We managed to drag him back to the car and he was still talking very strange, he stated he couldn't see, he couldn't breath, it feels as if someone is sitting on his chest he described. He feels weak and he's extremely hot. Once we get him into the car, we left and he was still out of it, confused. It scared the living crap out of me, because it all happen so fast, and the way he was talking and the whole place changed once all that happen. I recall, sitting in the front seat balling my eyes out, because I was so disturbed, while my brother was rolling around in the car, we ended up having to put her top up because he almost fell out of the car, I admit, we did speed out of there going like 80. Later that morning, he wakes me up. And asks me, what all happen last night? He didn't remember much, other then going out there and standing at the entrance. He told me, he had a strange dream about a person named "Ramsey" which it was a man. He didn't understand why he'd dream, he said, there was no picture just the voice that kept repeating "Ramsey". I happen to notice that he had a spot on his chest that wasn't there the day before we went. Almost as a "Finger" print in the center of his chest. It is still there to this day, and no one recalls seeing that before we went. Later that day, I decided to veiw the pictures. Reminding you, my brother never saw the pictures I took until later that night, the following day. I was surprised to see so MANY pictures of a tomb stone with the name "Ramsey" I walked around taking pictures of the tomb stones, didn't stay in a specific location so, I couldn't understand, how could I possibility of gotten so many pictures of this specific stone. It was by far the strangest I have seen. Some were from a distance, of me taking a picture of one stone, but catching that one in view. And then, out of enlarging the pictures of what I took of my brother through out his whole or deal, I did catch negative around him, squiggly lines around his head and also looked to be an aspiration of some sort of thing, with horns or something. It's almost as a hue, but you see the eyes, nose and the shape of its face and on top you see things shaped like horns. Reminded me of a goats shape face? I defiantly wouldn't recommend anyone going out there. Just with my brothers experience and seeing what he was going through and how things change, it just gave off a total different ora. Defiantly something is in there, and really I don't want to know either. Just glad that we got out of there before more stuff went down and someone got really hurt. If anyone has anymore questions they can email me personally. I also have so pictures of that night if anyone would like to look at them. Just please, avoid that place.. It's NOT safe.. You will find trouble..

AnonymousVisiter * US	does anyone know about that abandoned house by the church with the barbed wire fence? has any one been inside of it? i have and it wasnt... well peacfull. it was verry disturbing in the inside. teens used to go back and party. along time ago but there is alot worse done on the inside besides spray paint and old beer bodles. . can anyone post up any storys of a time they went in the house and what they saw?? does any one know the back round history?? thanks.

AnonymousVisiter - -	Ive been many times by myself and with friends,even skeptics which were turned into believers after less than 30mins there. I have a sensitivity to the paranormal,but that was one place i felt as if i counld not control myself. I took pictures,myslef and my friends. 90% of the pictures had these orange lines wrapping around me,trees, graves and we took many pictures and sometimes they were there and secs later...gone. got clouds over my head, we had footsteps following us.the skeptic was on his way out and as he was walking towards the gate,he said something rude about the cemetary and all of a sudden he looked as if he hit a wall on the path but nothing was blocking his path.Ive known the guy for years and never seen him scared at anything,but when that happened, he turned completely white and turned to the gate on the side to get out.as he was over the gate,the whole fence started to violently shake with no wind or animals around and me and my friend heard a growl in a bush and it quickly moved around us.all this happened right as dusk was setting in,so still good light out. I was still looking around and heard a whisper,my name, behind a tree and saw a white gown flowing behind the tree. i went to look and as i turned the corner,no one. then again it happened and again no one. as we started to leave to join my frightened no longer skeptic in the car, the woman that was calling my name,started to call me as if she wanted me to stay or help her. we were followed home and took a while to get rid of this spirit,bad spirit. dont go unless your ready for the unexpected.
