Story is a man who escaped prison stalked a family killing the mother, father and sister and the sons friend. The 8 year old son had his throat slit, was hit in the head with a hatchet, stabbed in the back and left to die, but he is the sole survivor. They say if you go to the house you will see blood prints and the ghosts of the family. July 2005 Update: recently the sole survivor made a statement recounting the murder. Also, correction to the address that you have as 2943 english road. The dispatch call of the police officer says "responding to 2951 English Rd." from the CBS "48 Hours" news video. So the house is located at 2951 English Rd. Chino Hills CA, 91709. If you go to google maps you use the satallite picture and compare it to the picture on http://lang.dailybulletin.com/projects/cooperwatch/news/042305_joshua_statement.asp (just find the pic with the Ryen Home, and Hideout home) from the high view, and compare them to find the house easily if you dont know where it is. And the person above is right. If the neighbors see you tresspass they will call the cops, and the police station is about a quarter mile away down the road!
Right on,ACK,thanks for the correction in the address.I also had taken into thought of the directions,(being that of a straight line),that is a possability.We took English pl.,which is located off English Rd. and went to the place that was boarded up.If that is the place,we compred the pics and the chimney in the crime photos goes through the roof,the house we went to chimney was built to the side of the house.Second the crime pics show a triangular entrance to the front door with an eve sticking straight out,our pics show none of the same architectual designs as the crime scene photo.We will get to the bottom of this somehow but I appreciate the info.

Yeah, the cops and neighbors do not like people going up there, and the Green Mist is nowhere near there. It is in, and around the hills of Aerojet. Located: Woodview road, and the end of Peyton Ave. Theres a small road which leads down to Heaven's Ranch, and the gated road that keeps going leads to Aerojet... I posted some info on Aerojet in Chino Hills if your interested. You can get in trouble over there too if your tressassing : )

I was just reading something about how people say kevin cooper is innocent which makes me sick. They say: How could he overpower 4 people?! And they even had loaded guns in their room! ..Well killing the two adults in their sleep (cant use a gun when your sleeping or dead) and then a 9 year old boy and 11 year old girl...Gimme a break. So rediculous that there are people dumb enough to even say that.
1. A spot of blood found in the hallway of the Ryen family home matched Cooper's rare blood type.
2. The saliva matching Cooper on a hand rolled cigarette butt found inside the Ryen station wagon.
3. A bloodstain located on a tee shirt that was found beside a road some distance from the Ryen home.
4. A bloody shoeprint in the house, of the exact shoes that inmates wear at Chino Prison.
5. The hatchet sheath was found in the hidout house were Cooper admitted to be staying, the same hatchet used in the murders. Along with the missing knife and icepick from the house. (but Cooper stated he never went to the Ryen home only 400 feet away).
6. A blood-stained button from a prison-issue jacket was also in the hideout home, and telephone records showed that Cooper made two calls from the house to friends asking for help with money or transportation. But the Ryen station wagon was stolen..
The list goes on and on and on, not to mention he has escaped from several other prisons and mental insitutions. Been charged with robbery, rape, and even attempted murder on the girl that helped him hide up north in CA. But of course he is an innocent, sane man right... And the defense has no evidence what so ever, all they say is rediculous stuff like.. "how could he kill 4 people"? Sorry I had to let that out!! because he is guilty and the evidence supports it 100%. I know everyone agrees, but it annoys me how they have websites for "free kevin cooper"... Cant wait till his time on death row is up.
Just wondering if you went to the copper house or the Cooper house, if you are talking about the house in which Cooper killed a family you must be referring to the Ryen house. You might want to read through all of the posts on this thread to find out about the house that you visited, it will then become clear to you that you weren't in the house that you think you were. Look at the pictures in the top corner of this page and you can see some pictures that tell the story. That would be amazing preservation of a crime scene over 25 years after the crime was committed though.

The Carbon Canyon cult is a cult that has existed since at least the 60's, thats pretty intersted. I wonder what they are up to back there.
An old co worker of mine was a boy scout back in the 60s, him and his buddies hiked back there and were escorted off the property. Another friend of mine livedi n Carbon Canyon for a short while, he and his roomates came across the cult too.. it was strange, and after speaking to both of them, their stories confirmed that they happened to be at the same place.
I google mapped it thru the birds eye view , the exact way my friend described it is exactly what youll see when you get an aerial view of the place. Nutty.
My old co worker also had mentioned a Mafia Murder up in carbon canyon, dont know anything else about it.. either way its all interesting to me.. ive been interested in the supernatural and abnormal since i was a child, in my mid 20's i still go searching for local near by haunts and strange occurances.

All i know so far is my uncle works for the city( hes the guy that checks the water meter) and he went to check there water and 2 men walked up to him carrieing pistols and told him finish what he was doing and leave.
Some of my friends have also managed to get in through the back, not the main entrance on carbon canyon, but they had to hike a couple miles. Once they were in there the saw so of the people living there an outfit with a large hood over thier heads roaming the streets at around 12pm. There was also a large staue that they saw with a glass casing around it that looked to be a statue of Saint Joseph.
Its supposed to be a religiuous organization but if it is then why do they need people to gaurd it with guns???
Please is anyone has any info then comment.
