A few years ago, I was at the restaurant having some margaritas with a buddy. To burn off some of the 'happy feeling', we decided to take a walk thru the shops. After some time passed, I had to use the restroom. So, I went back to the restaurant. Once there, they told me that since I had left the restaurant I was no longer welcome to use their restroom. That was pretty scary.
First of all I would like to say I am angry they renovated the way they did. I can also say for sure the spirit tenants are angry as well too. The place is occupied by the ghost of the school teacher who helped found the place. Before it was a high school it was an all ages school. The teacher use to borrow an orchard transport truck to pick up the kids who couldn't easily get to school. She loaded them in the truck until they were spilling out almost. She cared about her students to the point she gathered them to be educated. She is still there. So are some of the children who died as a result the great depression. I've seen her late in the morning at what is called dead time 1-4 in the morning. She will run up and get in your face. She made it clear to me that she was not happy with the changes and wished it to remain protected. She is the one slamming doors as well as the other bad spirits there. Because the witches coven is there, the negative spirit presence is overly apparent at dead time as well. She will be angry with the renovations. Nothing works there like it should and they can't keep tenants because of the haunting. They should have left well enough alone and preserved it instead of modernizing. This is historical site and big corporate America has done it again. The A/C, heating, and lighting will always have issues because the spirits are breaking it. Now if you don't believe this, get permission to hang out at 1AM. You will hear children playing, doors slamming and rattling violently. This is not a happy place. I have been going there since I was 5. I am 38 now. I am heart broken by the changes and so are the tortured tenants who can never leave. The great depression caused much pain for people of that time. This energy is locked in the building. So no matter how you paint it or rebuild. They will make your skin crawl until you go running out of there. It doesn't happen 24/7. But if you spend enough time there, this can happen in the middle of the day as well. Especially when you are alone. I've seen her several times and seen, also felt children tugging on my clothing. They play ball in the hall ways. I am all for progress. But somethings should be left alone. --------------------- David Hayes - raised in Ontario Ca. now living in Scottsdale Az.
