Location Description:
It is said to be a gateway to the afterlife. It is closed off and one risks an overnight stay in the Douglas county jail if they are caught trespassing. It is an old cemetery surrounding an abandoned church. Legend holds that any object thrown into the church regardless of what it is, you will never hear it hit the ground. The church has since been torn down Stull is said to be one of the six gateways to hell. The devil had a child with a local witch. The witch was hung in a tree and the boy was killed. The tree that she was hung from fell over and opened a gateway to hell. Many stories say that a large group of people went out into the cemetery on Halloween and the next day they were found all slaughtered. Witnesses report a demon like creature watching them from the doorway of the abandoned church on the hill of the cemetery. Do not go in the cemetery. Many bad things could happen.
_______________________________________________________________ Where is the `Gateway` located? This is from an e—mail posted on A Stull website
There are "stairs" that lead somewhere down. They are behind the church on the right side of the church if you are facing the church. They aren`t easy to find, however, because they are well covered by the grass that has grown on top of the lid that covers them. It is not easy to find them, it took a friend and I about 3 hours of snooping around. We came upon this about 6 years ago. If you really want to see or hear awful and weird stuff, if you can, try to campout behind the church for a night. Do this behind the church to avoid the patrol that do drive by there at night every hour or two. Take a flashlight and plenty of batteries, becacue you will have a ton of trouble keeping the flashlight working and it will go out a lot, trust me, I know.

Note: The town of Stull has zero tolerance for people in the town cemetary after dark and they're wary of people in the cemetary during daylight. If you want to see the cemetary go during the day and be respectful, if you try to enter the cemetary after dark you will more likely encounter a pissed off resident or Douglas County Sheriff than a ghost.
