Just so you know, you might not see the ghosts directly but i am willing to bet that you felt something off about the place therefore making it "creepy" even if all you saw was shadows... well GUESS WHAT.. those shadows were those "ghosts" or "spirits" as one might say and you seeing them was their way of telling you that they are there and very much aware of your presence in their resting place...

AnonymousVisiter ** US	I went there last night with a couple buddies and one of there wives we did not see anything the first or second time around but the third time we went down the road there was a ghost car that appered outta no where and then disapeerd just as fast as it appered there were no roads for it to turn down and we shined lights over there so there was no way it just turned off its head lights it was a no crap ghost car i am a firm belever that there are ghosts or at least spirts on that road i have yet to see the girl though i will keep looking i love that freaky stuff

AnonymousVisiter ** US	me and my friend went there a few months ago, we were interested about that place because we kept hearing stories about a lady wearing the blue dress, and the car that just popped out from nowhere. well honestly we saw the mysterious car.well its doesn't look like just an ordinary car it was like a big vehicle.we cant see the driver because it was too dark and it just came out from nowhere and we were so scared then my friend drives faster and faster as she could but that mysterious car was like chasing us but we have no idea where it came from because the road was so narrow and tiny and dark to fit 2 vehicle at the same time. we rushed to h st. then when we came out we parked for a lil while and waited for that car for several minutes but there's no car.nothing, the road was dark and we cant see nothing.we were terrified and never came back there ever again.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	no bullspit but me and five other friends went to the valley in the day time.. we were about a quarter mile from the town on the other side.. we were joyriding when all of a sudden we crashed!! now let me tell you iv'e been living in eastlake for over 14 years you know i was raised over here and heard all the stories.. and let me remind you that when we started the drive the sun was still out.. we crashed and there was no way to get the car out of the way that we crashed.. time goes by as the sun begins to set and i begin to panic more and more.. people drove past every once in a while but did not even think to try and help us.. some of the people even drove faster.. all of a sudden a truck pulls over and this guy gets out and tries to help us by tieing a rope to our car and pulling with his but his bumper end up falling off.. remember ive heard all the stories of proctor and was not a believer.. this particular "guy" that tried to help us didnt speak english.. i looked at his truck too see if there was anything in his truck that could help but the back of his truck was empty.. about 6minutes pass by and i could tell that the guy helping us knew something bad was going to happen if we didnt leave.. all of a sudden he pulls out a jck from the back of his empty truck.. and thats when i froze and just watched this guy bassically save our car.. now this is the part i will remember for life.. we get back into the car and the truck that helped us is in front of us leading us out.. and when we got to the paved road the truck disappeared in front of our own eyes.. we looked behind us as we were back on the paved road and there was the same truck waiting in front of the valley as if guarding it, moving backwards as his headlights disappeared into the darkness!! AnonymousVisiter GEORGIA US	no joke i was born in bv so i know all the storys.... on my buddies wedding night, my dad, my friend, and the soon to be husband, and i went to proctor valley... about 5 minutes into the valley our truck shut down. we had our windows open and out of nowhere this loud scream that came from a lady.... keep in mind that the lady in white is a screamming banshe.... anyway we heard this loud scream. all of a sudden our truck turned on. as we were hallen out of there we saw somthing following us... something huge.... when we got out and stopped at the enterence of the valley, something was looking at us and then this huge thing just started to go back into the valley. about two weeks later me and two other friends went back. about half way into the valley i got out of the car and poored some baby powder onto the bumper. we put our truck into neutral.... what happened next will be with me forever.... the truck all of a sudden started to move so we screamed F this bull lets get the F out of here. we put the car on drive and went home. when we got out we checked the bumper.... no joke there were a bunch of little hand prints and two big ones in the middle of the bumper. thoughs two nights were the werst nights of my life

But tonight felt really strange and weird, and we kept scaring ourselves. When we turned a corner near the end on the CV side, this woman in all white came out of the deep bushes with blood coming all down her face and neck. So we booked it and I looked back and she was gone.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	I have a friend who a couple of buddies and I sometimes go off-roadin' with out there in proctor valley. He claims that one night he was out there with 2 other people they came across the "blue people". He says that what he saw was a huge man like thing that stood about 7 feet tall had kind of a hairy face and probably weighed more than 300 pounds. when they floored it to get out of there this "blue person" kept up with his truck at 35 mph reaching to open the door. Now every time we go out near there at night he starts to freak out and say that we should leave. I don't know if he's just trying to scare us but one time before his run in with the blue people, we experienced some freaky stuff out there. There was about 5 or 6 of us out there. this particular night. we where off-roading out on some steep hill, we stopped and all got out of the trucks. while we were congregating all of a sudden we heard a whistle about i would guess 30 yards behind us and past a couple of thick bushes. about 5 seconds later we heard another whistle about the same distance but this time on the other side of us. A total of about 4 whistles then a small light shined in front of us behind a bush, not like a flash light but like something that just shined, like a quarter reflecting light type of shine, and we all freaked, jumped in the trucks and took off. after we got a good distance from where we were is when my friend told us about the blue people (still before his incident) he had heard of. After our little freak out and his talk about blue people we decided it was time to head back to civilization. ever since then we still go out there at night randomly but are always sort of freaked out. have you heard of any thing like this????

I went to my brother’s house last night who lives right at the end of East “H” St. and his wife was sharing stories of paranormal activity occurring in her home. That night I told my daughter what I had learned and she told me the history of hunting’s in Proctor Valley. I was shocked and not to hear the stories. I do believe that these stories are true and not only are affecting the isolated dirt area but the houses that have been built there. I called my brother this morning who told me he too was unaware of the stories.

AnonymousVisiter	So i've always heard Proctor Valley was haunted, and stories like: if you turn your car off, and your lights off you will see a ghost in a dress. Back in 2003 me and 3 of my guy friends went to proctor valley to "get scared" ... we went the old 94 way that turns and connects to proctor valley road. I forgot what time we all went out, but not even a mile into driving on the road I turned my car, and turned off my lights.. to see if we all can see anything, nothing happend. We all were dissapointed so as i went to start my car IT WOULDN'T START, I started screaming and my guy friends were freaking out too, my friend tried to start it and it wouldn't start.. eventually after 5min my car started up and we all bounced out of that place. I told my co-worker the next day whom lives in Jamul and she said there's many sightings of that car "thing" that happens out there. Also, my friend was on the old 94 out in Jamul, his car broke down, but he said he said a somebody on the side of the road across from him that disappered, he said it was a blue-ish figure.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	a friend and i were chased by the demon car a few months ago. it was crazy. the car was really far behind us then it picked up speed almost hitting us. but it went off the gravel road onto the main street bu turned around at the stop light. weirdest stuff ever. and earlier b4 that we took my car out there n the day and when we came back my car wouldnt start. but we havent seen a lady well have to check it out 4halloween.

AnonymousVisiter	my girlfriend and I have picked up several strong EMF spikes around the 3 mile marker, like in around the 150's and up. trying to debunk it, we turned around at the stoplight and went back north. Nothing came up. The usual EMF for the dirt road is around 45, which could possibly be because of natural elements in the ground. But could also explain why if its not haunted, people feel creeped out after being there for a while. Also, another strange thing that happened was during our drive on the road the entire time, we kept picking up words relating to what we were talking about, on our word database. One example on the way south, was I commented how big the house is on the left, and "compound" popped up. Also, going back north bound, I was saying wouldn't it be freaky if it said my gf's name. She said she would throw the device. A second later, "discussion" and "concern" flashed on the screen. I know it wasn't the program messing with me, because we left it on all the way back to imperial beach, and no words or EMF spikes hit. So for whatever reason, I believe at least strong energy to exist there, if not a ghost or two.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	i think all this bull about proctor valley has to do with the stupid government like come on lets think about it all the stories that we have heard so bad relate to someone or a comboy of cars chacing them of the road until they hit paved road until now i haven't heard a single story about someone dying or having a fatal accident on that area or better yet my dads friend is an officer and one day we sat down and talk about this and i ask him if he could check it out one day with some of his officer fellows and he told me that they didnt allowed any officer near that area that he didn't knew why but they just didn't let them i dont know exactly what they are hiding from us but the government hiding something from the citizens is not news right?

AnonymousVisiter - -	All these stories freaked me out. I have lived in SD most of my life but have never had any major issues on that road but it has been years since I have driven down it. One time my car got stuck in a ditch but was was helped out. But I don't recall if it was on that road or another crazy road in SD. As for those who say no one has ever been hurt on that road, think again! I was on the Doe Network which have listing of missing and unidentified murdered people and for some reason I clicked on a date of of a Jane Doe (2/14/78) and guess what the Jane Doe was found on Proctor Valley Rd... maybe she is the one of the spirits trapped on that road....check it out...Case # 863 on the doe network...could she be the ghost lady seen???
