AnonymousVisiter L -	Me and a friend who investigate areas on our own that seem to be active have been to asbury cemetery on a number of occasions. Upon each visit we have encountered the same entity that is fully aware of your presence as soon as you turn onto the road from cook store road. The first time we truly encountered this entity it was standing watching us drive past from the front porch of what seemed to be an abandoned house. As we drove up we heared a faint voice speeking in latin or another toungue, as a 5 year latin student I was able to make out a statement of war so we did not stay. Later that week we went back and as we turned on the road an overwhelming fear came to both of us at the same time, we looked behind us and saw a dark figure fallowing us, but not chasing us. It fallowed behind our car the entire time and we believe it was trying to destract us from the road so it would cause us to crash because we have been down this road many times but this time there were limbs and obstacles blocking our way. Over all I would say there is an entity that inhabits this area and thrill seekers should be aware that provoking what we believe could be a demonic entity can only lead to an unpleasent experience. If you choose to look for yourself take the proper steps in protecting yourself.

AnonymousVisiter P -	My wife and I are amatuer paranormal investigative team ,we were there at the cemetary itself 0n May 13 just after midnight and had a female EVP BEFORE we ever went past the gate ,saying "beleive me" and right after this saying "come back here",we also had recordings of a mans voice and more of the females as we were leaving ,The first picture I took has a brilliant small bright orb right abovethe first tombstone to the left of the path,when you first start into the actual graveyard.Very Old graveyard ,lots of children buriedc there,went back today during the daytime and saw and heard nothing

AnonymousVisiter ** -	I used to live close to Asbury and I will tell that there is something thats not right about that place. I had a personal event there myself, I was there late at night with a couple of freinds and I had heard storys about the place but was not ready for what I saw. I had a flash light with me and was shining it around to see where I was walking and then I saw a bright ball of light ( I first thought it was a reflection from the flashlight) in the middle of the woods/ cemetery, so I turned the flashlight off and the ball of light remainded and seemed to hang about 8 to 12 ft off the ground for around 15 to 30 secs(it seemed to kinda float around some). The ball of light looked to be the size of a basketball and bright but yet did not produce light around it like a lightbulb would. The light soon disappeared and so did I, I had the feeling like something followed me the whole way to may car and I have never beenback since. That was back around 92 and I did not tell the people I had with me what I had seen until we was way away from that place since I knew they would have freaked out. I for one know that place to be haunted and that was my second time to have that kinda event in my life. For those that have been out there you know that Asbury is way out of town and with no street lights or houses behind it so that debunks those thoughts!

AnonymousVisiter	My email is sgtpeppers187@yahoo - if you would like info ,i have some very audible evps from there when my wife and i went - we started our audio recording right before we went around the gate - we heard nothing at the time but we got home home and listened to the audio a girls voice VERY CLEARLY whispers -believe me(pause) and either "come back here "or "dont come back here" it is very clearly heard ,Ive played it for people many times and not even told them what to listen for ,they hear it and nearly crap thereselves when the hear it -later in the audio ,we here clearly a girls voice say "ghost" - this was about midway through headed to the very back ,we both felt very uncomfortable and left - will be going again soon if anyone would like to meet and go (serious inquirys only) thanks

AnonymousVisiter ** US	Me and some friends went out there tonight with a Ojia board to test it out, but when we turned on the road the cemetary was on there was a man standing on the side of the road with a flashlight. The car in front of me kept going but we put it in reverse and left, and the guy with the flashlight seemed to be coming towards us. AnonymousVisiter	Me and a few friend went there last night and the dogs were very nice and friendly but skiddish! However, one of the dogs that likes use alot and was all over us wouldnt even go in the cemetary which i thought was strang and it kept looking around cautioulsy! It ran out and we saw nothing else but as we came out i went to pet the dog and it coward down and ran off like something was there but other than that nothing.

AnonymousVisiter	You guys out there screwing around are making life very difficult on those of us that are operating a legitimate group in this area. If you want to do this, do this right. Paranorm, a group from Paducah, DID NOT get permission and were not chased off by a black entity, but the ladies sons from across the road. She said they went out there and scared the crap out of these people to get them to leave. She and her family own the land in and around the cemetery. I just spoke to her yesterday in an attempt to get permission to investigate the area. We already have the go ahead from the police department but she is reluctant to help us because of groups like Paranorm and people vandalizing the place.

mshoulta70 Last Seen: 10/24/2010 1:22:54 PM	I actually visited Asbury Cemetery some 25 years ago after there was a rather large article in the Mayfield Messenger regarding a group of Murray State University students who had performed an investigation there. My dad read the article and being a spooky things lover like myself suggested we load up and go for a ride. It was daytime, so it was the scariest of environments, but interesting nonetheless. We actually had a rather strange incident occur when we were having a slight problem locating the cemetery. There were an older man and lady who appeared to be dressed in rather dated clothing walking down the road. We stopped to ask for directions and they happilly provided same and pointed us in the direction of same. We arrived and began our novice exploration of the paranormal. We actually happened upon a rather large tomb stone with a portrait of a man and woman who bore a striking resemblance to the man and woman we happened upon on the road. Strange, huh?? But true! Thus began my love of haunts!

AnonymousVisiter	I was there 2 weeks ago and will never go back. Hand prints on my windows. One tire was flat. The light appeared several times. A young woman kept saying "please help me". Older couple was walking up the road and would not even look at us. This was at 11:30pm. The temp did drop roughly 17 degrees as we entered the cemetery. Also noticed it was windy everywhere but in cemetery. Stay away young kids.

AnonymousVisiter * US	If you want to visit or explore the cemetery at night, please stop at the house across the road from the cemetery gate first to get permission. If you are not drinking or acting stupid the lady will usually give permission and even offer a flashlight if you don't have one! She does get upset when people try to sneak in. Then her husband or boys will get the guns after you!

AnonymousVisiter - US	We went there, but we didn't know we had to get permission, and had to leave because the dogs kept coming after us, and We heard guns keep going off. We never were going to hurt anything in the cemetery, but that nearly scared us to death. We didn't know anything about the place except that its haunted, and we wanted to go on a hayride to it since we live about 2 miles away from it. We didn't get to stay and investigate because of the dogs and the guns going off... but now that I know we have to get permission, It makes much more sense.
