Location Description:

The hauntings take place between 11pm and 4am. You can hear footsteps when there is nobody there and in the bathrooms for both boys and girls you can hear the distinct sound of a toilets overflowing and even a conversation going on when both the bathrooms are locked. There are loud bangs in the night and the whispering and the strange feeling of another presence is felt.

AnonymousVisiter V -	THE TRUE STORY: I went to tht school since i was in kindergarden but at fourth grade i moved to riverside then perris and now to riverside again. i have expireinced things like this. there is myth that says that there was an old lady in the middle of the road and a truck was comming so this one girl called mary b. luis got in the way and pushed the old lady out of the way. so the girl got killed and they burried her at the entrence of the school. when i was in the school i went to the bathroom with all my friends cause i was scared to go by myself and when we went in all the toilets flushed and the sinks all tured on. so if u go their be careful.

AnonymousVisiter	i go to this school and its my last year there i been there since kindergarden and all my siblings went there and we all said the same thing that the school is haunted but what i didnt know was that they burried her there. but i found out my self. i never really payed attention to it then one day i read it and it said her name so i told all my friends that she was burried there but they didnt beleave me but i know it was true. AnonymousVisiter	I went there K-6, I'm currently 24. It's not haunted... she was hit by a car, she didn't die on campus. Wouldn't it make more sense if she haunted the street or the car? or the conscious of the driver? why the school? They had the same janitor "Andy" for like years and dude wasn't ever creeped out. I used to think that plaque on the floor at the entrance was her tombstone and she was buried there, lol... but otherwise I never experienced anything crazy, even in the bathroom except some fucker overflowing the sinks on purpose or that shitty pink powder soap. I went to BHS, and they said someone died in the auditorium cos they fell into the bands box in front of the stage down below but I was in stagecrafts for elective and never heard anything.... in closing if anything is haunted at Mary B it was the salisbury steak

AnonymousVisiter	From the schools web site. Can't be haunted, since she died before the school was built and at a different location. I attended the school in the 1950's, sorry, no ghosts. The History of Mary B. Lewis Elementary Our Beginnings….. Mary Beryl Lewis was born June 13, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the first of six children born to Vince and Beryl Lewis. In 1943, the Lewis family moved to California to the San Fernando Valley, and then settled in the Bloomington area in 1946. Mary attended 8th grade at Cedar Street School (now the Educational Services Center for the Colton Joint Unified School District) where she was an outstanding student. On the morning of January 10, 1947, Mary, her brother, and a little neighbor girl waited for their school bus at the corner of Valley Boulevard and Alder. The younger girl dashed into the street in front of traffic. Mary ran after, to push her to safety. The little girl was injured but survived. Mary, however, was struck by a large truck and died at the scene. Because of her act of bravery and her excellent scholastic record, members of the school board approached Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and asked if they could name a new school that was being built in honor of Mary.1 Mary B. Lewis Elementary School opened in September 1948. The school was founded under the then Bloomington School District and was dedicated October 24, 1952 by the Native Sons of the Golden West. In 1966, the school joined the Colton Joint Unified School District. 1 Historical information regarding Mary B. Lewis provided by Mrs. Kay Gaumond, Mary B. Lewis' sister.

AnonymousVisiter CALIFORNIA US	To one of the posts above concerning the BHS auditorium. Currently I'm 34. I graduated in 1996. Yes the drama teacher Mrs Edwards fell into the orchestra pit. It was actually during finals. I was in Ms Urquizu's video productions/stagecraft class. She was wondering where was Mrs Edwards since the bell already rang and she couldn't watch her class and take us into the auditorium at the same time. Well we ended up going into the auditorium anyways from the outside door on the south side near her classroom. All the lights were out inside. As we walked inside, we heard sounds similar to a cat meowing. We laughed because we thought somebody was joking around. Somebody eventually turned on the light and we heard the sounds coming from the pit so we leaned over and had a look. She was flat on her back with blood coming out of her ears and nose. I ran to the front office to tell them to call the paramedics while a guy named Dennis Mor jumped into the pit and held her hand until emergency services showed up. She later died at the hospital. Now if you know anything about the layout of that area, Mrs. Edwards classroom had a door straight into the stage but near the back of the stage! She knew that place like the back of her hand. That's what made us curious was how she wondered away from the lights 30-40 feet away into the pit. As for Mary B Lewis, I graduated the 6th grade there in 1990. We burried a time capsule in the planter near that outside stage next to the office. Does anybody know if it's been dug up?
