i grew up in reisterstown and my friends and i would visit upper melinda often. it was always fun to get a scare right around halloween. we also took a walk up the driveway and swore we saw things in the woods at night. i miss that place just knowing the history and being able to go there whenever we wanted.

I went there tonight. Felt and saw nothing. I am a ghost hunter and medium. There was absolutely no energy to that place what so ever. Kinda sad really.

"Upper Melinda" is actually the name of the rather large home that resides at the top of the "very spooky" driveway. There are two properties up there actually, and in the 1920's both belonged to the Foster family. The area is called Moser Hill. The only records I can find for anything related to this are property records. What people see in a amateur video made by locals and said to be a school house is actually an old mushroom farm which sits at the corner of Bonita Avenue and Tufton Road.
