i had this very same thing happen to me and a friend of mine, only we were farther south than rockford and the bright light changed colors several times, flew behind the car, then along side the car then flew away very quickly... also... when you go past rockford... if you haven't seen this before you will now... there are several houses if you keep going further south that are very strange looking... take a look for yourself...
