Location Description:

Around 1:00PM in July of 1992 alongside a country road, 3 people had the feeling of being watched. They were standing near a melon patch “I noticed something that seemed to be standing behind a large tree.” The hunting dogs were “going crazy.” The creature let out a deep growl similar to a bear. “After the event, we could hear strange sounds coming from the woods for quite a while. They sounded like whistles and howling.” In this area the creature is know as the Boggy Depot Monster or The Boggy River.
