Location Description:
There is a home on Hedstrom Road that is haunted. The house was built in the early 1970s and current and past residents have experienced ghostly activity. Past renters had multiple experiences. A couple examples: one renter was home alone during the daytime and taking a shower in the main bathroom. He had a radio on the sink counter and the music was loud. He heard the (locked) door open and the radio suddenly go quiet. The door then slammed. He looked out and the radio cord had been pulled from the outlet.
Another renter was asleep on the couch around the same time and at 4 a.m the stereo suddenly turned on full blast. Footsteps have been heard on the roof. Another roommate returned home after a few days to find a strange substance sprayed around part of the bedroom. It appeared to be a dried, white, foamy substance (ectoplasm?). There was no explanation found. Other times roommates returned home to find the doors of the house wide open (usually at night) although it had been locked when they left.
Current renters have had a few experiences. On one such occasion, the mother heard a noise at night and went to check on her sleeping 7 year old son. She opened his door and found a shocking sight: it appeared that a large adult was sleeping in bed next to her son, under the blankets. She went and woke her husband who returned with a baseball bat. He grabbed the blankets and pulled them back to reveal only the sleeping boy. They tried to recreate the blankets in a human figure but were unable to do so.
