Valentown was originally built in 1879 as a shopping plaza and community center by Levi Valentine. Today it stands as a monument to his inspiration for building a town on top of his own family farm land.
It was said to be visited by so many different spirits it has been called the Ghost City of Valentown. The surrounding woods are also reported to hold strange mist like apparitions. I saw an apparition of what I had thought to be a British red coat, at the top of the stairs, with a large feathered hat gold buttons and red coat and white pants. Recently, I viewed a picture of the Valentown band, and their uniforms are also red with giant feathered hats.
