I wouldn`t be too worried about not trespassing considering half way down you enter St. Louis County Park territory, which is heavily used by surrounding neighborhoods.

DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL EVER!!!! me and my friends went there late one night when we were ghost hunting and we walked on this road for 2 1/2-3 miles and saw nothing scary at all except for 2 deer! when we got back to the top of the road to get in our cars we were joined by cops. who saw us go in and didnt stop us but rather they ticket'd us after we came back. the ticket is $177 and its through the city of wildwood. dont waste your time here at all people

I just recently went up there to check it out during the day. there was tons of no trespassing signs everywhere as they are doing construction on that road right now. i went down a little bit but didnt really want to get a fine. signs posted that there was a min. charge of $1000.

It's been nicknamed zombie road since the 1950's so even if this did happen it wasn't the start of paranormal activity there.
