After the initial investigation at the O'Hanlon house in Omaha, Nebraska, February 2008, we were able to walk away with enough evidence to preempt a second investigation. It took absolutely no time at all for activity to become prevalent around us. All of our equipment was active and validated each other. We had 2 Gauss meters, 2 Geiger counters (one industrial and one electronic) 2 sets of dowsing rods, 2 digital recorders, 2 digital cameras and a Video recorder.As teams, we went to specific "hotspots" within the house. There were numerous personal experiences that coincided with the Owner's claims, all of which, we have hard evidence of. There were so many experiences within the short, 4 hour time frame, that we didn't find the need to stay the night. However, upon further inspection of the footage, we found many EVP's that not only were thought to have "personality," but also were quite peculiar in the fact that they too were trying to figure us out as well. We did notice a place in the home that had a very strong "pull" to it. It seemed to stay within the same area and was there again upon the 2nd inspection of the home. I was unable to see under the staircase to see if there was a reasonable explanation for this, however...Two of our team members were on the staircase, with a third junior investigator, when they were all growled at. This was recorded and was heard...yet when I slowed the EVP down from 16000 Hz to 11025 Hz, that single growl become 2 very distinct voices. One was a child's and the other that of a man. The man's voice overpowers the child's at one point and is unintelligible, however, the child says something like "These bridges aren't normally...."
I am sure we have debunked the "banging on the door" and as far as footsteps?! We all heard them behind us at one point during the investigation. There was also a point that I had sat a ball down and marked it...and after about 5 minutes of watching it...we all became engrossed in conversation for a moment. When I stood up to go and check the mark by the ball, I noticed that the ball was gone. As if that wasn't weird enough, it was back where I was standing...and there was no way that it could have rolled there...NO WAY...lol That was pretty wild. However, during the 2nd investigation we were unable to get many results.
I am considering asking the owner for one last visit to this premises before making my final conclusions.
Unfortunately, the owner is a friend of mine and has promised that my paranormal team will be the only team to investigate... as we will soon be doing haunted tours. When the "mansion" is opened to the public, I will contact you with tour dates....
