Location Description:
A minister friend of mine told me of this old house that has been in his family for many generations. Over 100 years ago his great grandmother closed off the room leading up into the attic.It has remained closed ever since. She said entering the attic would awaken and invite evil spitits back into the house. Over the years many items have been moved around without explaination and a lady in a black dress has been seen many times throughout the house.There was a story about a lady who practices witchcraft that had 6 children die on her that used to live in the house about 150 years ago and that she had preserved then in the attic by pickling them in barrels. I told my wife this story within an hour of hearing it and she turned white as a sheet. She had just had a dream where she was in a cemetery where this lady in a long black dress kept asking her if she'd seen her kids.The house in close to Beulah Chapel cemetery which I know nothing about. Nobody from his family lives in this house now because of the fear involved. Actually went out to check this house out only to have a neighbor tell me to let it be because he'd seen light flickering in the attic many times. Not making this up. I'm not the only person that gets the willies just looking at this house and I don't scare easy.
