ok the story here is the sorrell family lived here and owned a fue slaves. Mr. Sorell was having a affair with the slave woman that lived in the carrige house . Mrs. Sorrell found out about the affair and ...this is where storys dont match up.She  1 commited suside by throwing herself off the balcony or 2 was thrown off the balcony by someone. Possibilty her husband. then a short time latter the slave girl was found hanging in the carrige house . so these two woman are said to haunt the place. People hear screaming from the slave house and people claim to see mrs. sorell in the garden.
