Well, first things first, I worked there for a deal of time when I first moved to Syracuse. I had early morning shifts, starting usually at 5-6 a.m. Generally, from 5-7 a.m. about, the only people working were my opening manager, one grill person, and myself. A few weeks after I'd started working there, things would randomly start getting "lost" or "stolen", though they weren't things that SHOULD have been stolen or lost... Things like equipment parts (blender parts for the smoothie machine, etc), broom/maintenance equipment... It was odd, but I thought nothing of it. One morning, at roughly 5:30 a.m., I was walking from the stock area to the front counter to go over the morning cleaning, when I heard whistling maybe a yard and a half behind me. I turned, and no one was there. I figured it was just an echo of the grill lady, or my manager... Both had been outside smoking without my knowledge. I asked my manager about it later on, and also the grill employee, and both told me they'd experienced the same thing. According to the "store legend" of the workers, there was a male entity that drifts the floor, causing an eerie feel early in the morning or very late at night. Yes, it's odd to hear that a McDonald's would be haunted... But, anything's possible, right?
