I can personally atest the hotel is haunted.  I have stayed there several times and had paranormal expierences every time.  None have been previously mentioned in other reports I have seen online. 

I think the room I stayed in on the third floor, when I was there for business, use to be a maids room in the day.  It was really small, but had a fireplace with a slate hearth.  The room had so much static the TV kept making static noices and I could hardly hear the other party when I was making phone calls for all the static eletricity. The first couple of days were pretty quite, other than the static eletricity.  On the third day I didn't have to get up early as I had the previous two days.  I always have the front desk give me a wake-up call if I need to wake early, so I don't set the alarm clock.  The third morning the alarm clock went off at 7:00am although it had not been set.  It had a static radio station playing.  I figured the maid must had hit a button or somthing. 

I just layed there reluctant to get up so early when I could sleep late. But then a males voice said through the static radio " GET UP!!!"  Gee, I thought ,it sounded like it said get up!  Still I didn't move.  Then a minute later the voice came again stronger and louder and said" GET UP NOW!!!" .  So I got up and tried to turn the radio and clock off but it wouldn't turn off so I yanked the cord out of the wall socket.  Decided I might as well have a shower and hit the breakfast buffett. Kept feeling like I was being watched. When I got in the shower and soaped up my hair the fire alarm went off.  I didn't smell smoke so I rinsed out my hair before getting  out.  I heard frantic banging on my door and was told it was the fire dept.  I put on a robe and several fireman rushed the room the min. I opened the door looking for the fire.

I told them it sounded like it came from the hall ,but they stated they had equipment which identified the exact location when an alarm went off ,and it came from inside MY room. They looked puzzled when they noted my alarm was not blinking, as they are suppose to do after going off, until they are manually reset.  It was very high on the wall near the high ceiling and a latter would be required to reach it. Also, they noted I had just gotten out of the shower.After they left, still shaking their heads, I looked down and saw a large wet foot print on the slate hearth.  It was a large size man's print. I placed my foot in the print and it was about four inches longer than my foot. Freaky!  I dressed and went to the dining room.  Upon entering the room, all the fire alarms went off at once.  The staff were freaked out. Slept with light on the next two nights.

The last visit I stayed in the annex with a sun porch.  On the second night I had terrible nightmares consisting of a dark haired young man in the 30"s?  He wore a black hooded cloak and was performing a satanic ritual.  There was an animal sacrafice involved.  I am an animal lover and was horrified. This was the first dream of this type ever.  I woke up but was unable to move or speak.  I was being squeezed as if someone with strong arms was standing behind me with both arms around my body squeezing me.  I finally managed to sqeak out my husbands name and I was suddenly released.  Then I heard three loud sounds of medal on medal which reverberated around the room loudly. I couldn't figure out what caused the sound.  The sun porch had three double windows which one side could be opened.  The previous day one window kept being open after I had repeatly locked it. No one could access the porch except through my room.  I realized the next day it was the sound of the bolt opening the latch on the three windows that I heard in the night.  Strange. The first encounter did not feel threatning. The second was very threatning.
