I wentoutside Christmas eve and noticed in the sky, this large object that at fisrt I thought was a plane. it appeared to be moving very slowly initially. Then I noticed It had stopped and was just hovering low in the sky. It was triangular shaped white lights (you could see black sky through the center); and it looked to have circular white lights in each bottom corner of the triangle with a red light in the center of the bottom. At times there was a white circular aura surrounding it. This object stayed in the same spot in the sky for an hour; then moved lower in the sky and to the right for about 15 minutes and then more to the right and continued to hover. In all the object hovered low in the sky for about an hour and a half. I did not hear any noise comming from it. I didn't think to call and report it. I was just facinated watching it. I finally skyped my husband (who was hanging out of town with my son), he told me to go out and take pictures of it. I got my camera and when I went back out it was gone. That was at 6:30 pm; So the object was in the sky over RT#1 from approx 5pm to 6:30pm. 5pm was when I first went out and spotted it, it could have been there longer. At one point during the sighting I noticed this small red colored object flittering in the sky beneath the larger object. It was traveling horizontally in the sky towards exeter NH. It was just like a flashing red light that was moving very fast and very small in size compared to the other object. Then I lost sight of that one. Any simiolar stories from Christmas eve 2011 from this area??
