Location Description:

Security guards have reported seeing a 7foottall specter which has no features and merely looks like a huge black "blur" that rises up from a mummy sarcophagus exhibit straight through the ceiling. Another time when the security guards would sneak and take their "catnaps" in the storage room, there was a glowing face hovering inches away from them as the woke. They would proceed to try to evade the spirit but it would block their was as they would maneuver around the room. It would then just simply disappear.

GeorgeWagner Last Seen: 7/24/2011 9:51:49 PM	I've seen this mummy case at least a half-dozen times but never noticed anything unusual concerning it. Of course that doesn't mean that other people haven't, especially individuals who've spent much more time around it than I ever have. By the way, I'm fairly certain that the mummy case in question is EMPTY.

GeorgeWagner Last Seen: 7/24/2011 9:51:49 PM	The Museum also contains a hand-carved wooden sarcophagus dating from Spain during the late Middle Ages. (It is also empty.) 45 or 50 years ago a gentleman was discovered kneeling before this item, praying to it and burning incense. (Why? Your guess is as good as mine.)

aprttiff Last Seen: 2/20/2011 4:12:34 PM	Another story we were told while here was of a model in love with an artist and hung herself from the third floor in the center room past the leased art hall. No idea to if it is true. As well as a security officer who died during an attempted robbery who showed up to work her shift the next night. The next day her fellow security guards found out about her death. Again, stories. I don't have any evidence that makes these carry any weight. While in the museum, the most energy was felt in the African art exhibit hall, and we got two orb photographs. Hardly any kind of proof towards a haunting.
