Location Description:

When you have your car to where you are about to go up the hill and you turn your car off and, put your car in neutral. It is believed that there where some guys that were hung years ago will push your car up the hill. Directions to haunted hill : Take Hwy. 11 going north past the airport, follow to highway. 75 north to Bartlesville. Follow that road for like thirty minutes and then you will se a tractor place on your left. Turn left after it. Go straight for like 3 miles or so. You will go over a bridge and then railroad tracks, keep going straight. Then you will come to a "Y" in the road, the "Y"'s street sign will say GAP ROAD just go straight until you come to a curve that curves left. Don't take the curve, turn around and go up a few feet. TURN OFF YOUR CAR, PUT IT IN NEUTRAL, WAIT A FEW SECOND AND YOU WILL FEEL THE GUYS PUSHING YOU UP THE HILL.

AnonymousVisiter T US	I went there with a few friends and my fiance and we had my dog with us. My dog starting freaking out and we put baby powder on the bumper of the car and there was tiny hand prints on the vehicle. we also recorded some evp`s we still havent figured out what the evp was saying but it was still pretty cool.

AnonymousVisiter A US	Been there, grew up by there. Lots of stories surround it and it seems really really freaky because your car does indeed move on it`s own uphill and for quite a big distance. However, even if the stories are true (many African Americans were hanged there, a bus crashed killing the whole football team inside, either the football team or the hanged dudes are pushing the car)it is really only an optical illusion created by the unusual topography. The road actually is on a slight decline but the hills are angled in such a way as to make the road look like it goes uphill. Still, it`s worth a visit. The locals call it Gravity Hill, it`s on Gap Road, south of town. Not hard to find. The really freaky thing used to be the singing highway right near Gravity Hill. If you drove fast, the road quite literally sang in a freakishly haunting way. No one, to my knowledge, ever figured out why. It was suspected that it was due to reverberations in an aquifer underneath the road or an unusual material used in the pavement (it did look different from regular pavement) but a few years back they tore it up and re-paved it thus completely screwing it up.

AnonymousVisiter ** US	no, they say its only an optical illusion because its the only explanation they have.. other than ghosts. but someone i know, who i went to the hill with tonight, said he took a level thing out there and it is uphill. i will take one and find out for myself next time.

I sat there for a second before asking my friend if she saw it too. She did and we were terrified and left!!

AnonymousVisiter ** US	Me and a few friends went out there a few months ago and put baby powder on the back of the durango we were in. The durango went moved forward on its own while it was in neutral and turned off. When we got back to a quiktrip in Bville the baby powder had many handprints all over the back of it that didnt even match the size of any of our hands and many of them looked mangled. The really strange part is that when I put my hand on it to put another hand print on the back my hand pulled all the powder off but all the prints on there were just small indentions. I thought that it might have just been that it was very foggy out there which caused handprints already there to show up through the baby powder because of the moisture in the air but on a foggy day in my home town owasso i tried to make it do the same thing but it just stayed in a nice straight layer with no indentions. That was one of the scariest nights of my life...its a spooky road in the first place when it is two in the morning lol. The whole reason I went out there is because I am a skeptic of these kind of things but after going there to disprove it to my friends I now believe the hill is definitely real.

AnonymousVisiter OKLAHOMA US	This is an urban legend many towns have I have driven gap road in the early morning late at night many of times. Never anything out of the ordinary. Also Crybaby bridge, I tihnk every town cliams to have one, but I did get a kick out of taking some girlfriends to the one we claim to have in Redbud valley just outside of Catoosa many years ago =)

AnonymousVisiter - US	I dun it once many years ago, It was the scaryst moment of my hole life. Our car broke down and it was almost brand new. My little brother started throwing up cause he kept saying over and over make them get out, make them get out. I will never go back. I also live in town and hate to here people talking about it.
