I have heard many different stories regarding the Old Girls School.... How ever most of them all have truth to them... I truely think that the whole issue was not only covered up by the state, and Juniata County.. But also the girls familes... I understand that what ever the truth is was painful, but people do have a right to know historical facts... Ironically most of thoses families more in likely quick to jump or be interested in any other haunted site areound here.. I think its hypacritic that Juniata County is big on The founding History.. yet so quick to cover up their secrets..Tho they are part of the history as well.... I have talked to family members that have passed down the same informationfrom person to person from that time era and its not just " The building was torn down"" I can not tell the complete story because I only know bits and pieces which is not enuff to make up a complete story....I do however feel that maybe as much as the truth may hurt.. It may honestly set another free.. who is to say that maybe if there even are spirits of the girls around lingering that.. thats why they r still here... Maybe the truth will let them move on...My question is...Why is Juniata County so hypacritic? I thought they were historic?
