Location Description:
Near Flag Pole Hill on Northwest highway. There is a narrow horseshoe shaped road with lots of trees
a few obscured houses in between. Once you start down this narrow road, you must continue . No place to turn around. Mysterious events such as rocks flying from impossible angles towards cars
sudden unforeseen vehicular body damage, etc, have occurred. The local police department will verify this as far back as 1976. Do not drive down at night.

I know this location (street) very well as I haved lived in the neighborhood for almost 50 years. The actual location is not on Flag Pole Hill, which is a part of White Rock Lake Park and has no residences. The street is called Forest Trail and is on the east side of White Rock Trail just north of Lanshire Street, which borders Flag Pole Hill. In high school (early 1970s), Forest Trail was known as the "witches street" because a witch supposedly lived in one of the houses along it in the 1960s. There was never any talk of the street being haunted. The neighborhood that encompassed Forest Trail was about 10 square blocks in size and contained older, smaller houses with poor street lighting as compared to the larger surrounding resiential developments. The atmosphere of Forest Trail (narrow circular asphalt road, lots of trees, poor lighting, and the witch story) was what made it creepy. The area is undergoing rapid redevelopement with expensive homes and its atmosphere has changed.

I live in Dallas and have driven on this road a few times - even at night. There's nothing but picnics and games of frisbees. Don't bother.
