Who are We?

We are the Paranormal Research & Development Society (PRDS). Our services are currently open in Corona, and Riverside Chapters.

We investigate any, and all alleged hauntings.

The Majority of the cases we handle are myths, and urban legends, devised to create an ambiance, and atmosphere to thrill "Legend Trippers", and "Ghost Hunters". Still some legends hold truth, and everyone has a right to peace of mind!

The PRDS is not a "Ghost Hunting" society

If you are at all familiar with paranormal investigators, you will find two types. There are those who are in this for the thrill of the hunt, and those who are in it for the proof.

Thrill seekers, legend trippers, "psychic investigators". Do you trust your investigation to an disreputable methods, and tactics? You want to know if your home, or property is haunted. You want to know that you are safe. You want the safety, and security of the PRDS.

Paranormal Investigation can be a very Gnostic profession. Too many modern investigation groups are putting stock in archaic methods, and occult tools. The PRDS challenges you to ask questions, and research methods. Divining Rods, Pendulums, Ouija Boards, and séances are tools of a time well worth looking past.

We guarantee that our agents, and operatives handle each case through the seven steps of scientific method. We begin by building a case file, designating it a number, and operating from the Question, all the way to the conclusion. Is your home, or property haunted?

Unfortunately—or fortunately for you—the majority of "hauntings" are based around urban legends, fueled by fear stricken thrill seekers, and legend trippers.

Group hysteria contributes to the fear factor, and unfortunately also fuels the tales, and creates legends under false pretense. In addition to this, the majority of alleged hauntings are designated by how scary, or creepy something looks rather than what it actually is.

It is due to the nature of these allegations, that the PRD must step in to discern what is, and what is not.

FAQ

• Who are they, or what are they?
  
  
  • Strangers. The truth is that no one knows exactly who or what they are, nor do we know their intentions. The most valuable tool in life we learned was from our parents. Do not talk to strangers, and if you need help: Call a someone you can trust.

• Why are they here; why my house?
  
  
  • Again, no one knows why. Those under the practice of old theory would use occult tools to attempt to further their investigation. Whoever they are, whatever they are, if it is an intelligent haunting, it, or they are capable of lying.

• Intelligent Hauntings; Non-Intelligent Hauntings: What is the difference?
  
  
  • An intelligent haunting is accompanied by the presence of an entity that is capable of action, reaction, communication, and at times, interaction (it is not recommended you interact with these things). They are self aware.
  • A non-intelligent hauntings is accompanied by phenomena known as, or similar to Recurrent Psycho Kinetic Energy, or Activity (RPKE/RPKA). This form of a haunting is theoretically an energy signature captured, or absorbed into a property, place, or structure. Audio, Visual, and sometimes a combination of both can be experienced, however. These are not self aware. They are simply a live action recording.

• Will the PRDS clear, or exorcise my property?
  
  
  • The PRDS is uniform to a code of scientific research, and method. Religion is not part of our investigation, nor are occult practices of any kind. In this, you can be assured that our investigations are not biased, or gnosis.
  • We are not experienced in Exorcism; our agents and operatives are not clergy. It is not our place to practice those rites.
  • The PRDS will perform a full scale investigation, and you will receive a copy of this investigation.
  • The PRDS can advise you which steps to take, and will attempt to help you find the appropriate means for you to clear, or exorcise your property, or home.
    
• Are the PRDS agents, and operatives experts on the afterlife, and experts on hauntings? There are other paranormal investigation groups who offer services as experts in their field.
  
  
  • There is no such thing as an expert on the afterlife, nor is there such a thing as an expert on hauntings. 
  • There is only theorists, and most often, gnostic theorists at that. The real question is: Would you prefer an investigation where the answers were achieved by the use of occult tools, seances, and "psychics"... or would you prefer an investigation that runs by the numbers?
    
•  Paranormal Study, Ghost Hunting; these are religious by nature. Aren't they?
  
  
  • No. Every faith has its own story on the afterlife, no matter how similar, or how different. The PRDS feels it has no right, or authority to claim any one faith will operate better than the next in the field of paranormal research... so we removed the use of occult, and religion from our investigations. You want the facts!

• Does the PRDS accept tips, or donations?
  
  
  • The PRDS, for lack of a better phrase, is a non-profit organization. Our ultimate goal is to prove (or disprove) the existence of an afterlife, and to serve the public trust in doing so. While money is a subject that will never come up during an investigation, the PRDS relies on its members, and sponsors to purchase the equipment necessary to perform their studies, and investigations.

   The PRDS is responsible for, and to everyone who investigates sites we post here. This is why we will never post an incomplete investigation, or share misinformation that could lead to the injury of a paranormal investigator, or society. 

   The PRDS does not hold liability for individuals who are injured investigating sites sites we investigate; beware of all locations, as the PRDS often investigates sites of a relatively dangerous reputation. Individuals investigating sites we have in the past, or intend to, shall do so at their own risk.

   The PRDS does not encourage amateurs to investigate paranormal activity until properly trained. Preferably by a PRDS agent, or operative.
